Amazing food made from scratch. Best nachos I ever had.
Food was excellent! Service was a little slow but tolerable. Would highly recommend! Outstanding beer menu, extremely surprising for the restaurants location and size. Selection rivals most large resturants!!
Very pleasant surprise. Was getting late and we were hungry. Google Map brought up Badger Cafe. So we said, Let's try it. Glad we did. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good. Good selection of beer and a wide variety of food. I would stop again.
So we live in Union. Very close to the badger cafe. We frequent there, for dinners and breakfast, and we love the food. We spend alot and tip well while we are there always. This has all come to and end in one trip. The owner is a very cold seeming woman, with a fake outer shell that she puts on for the customers, but every once and a while you catch the brash and snide woman that she really is. We went in on a Sunday morning with family from out of town visiting for breakfast, there was five of us and a baby. It was a busy Sunday summer morning, so there were a lot of customers and a table pushed together for a party of what looked like 11 people. So, instead of pushing two tables together, she sat our two families at two tables separate from each other with nothing in between with the excuse of she just didn't want all the tables pushed together. When the sweet little waitress watched us as we had to stand up and talk across the pathway, she told my mother she would talk to her and see if we could just push them together. When she came back she seemed embarrassed and just said no, I'm sorry, she's just stressed, she says no. Now, what business owner would tell a customer such a thing, let alone one that they saw often and obviously lives around and could put out a good word for your business? Not a wise choice in my opinion. This will be the last time we attend this restaurant, and I will surely not recommended it to anyone, they will get the real story. Of course this is more built up from many of the interesting interactions with this woman, including sampling beer at 9:30 in the morning one weekend in front of customers. Unfortunately her husband is a great cook, and her staff is wonderful, but that is much more than I can say for this facade of a decent human being. This is all her show, and we are all just watching it.
